Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Shriya Saran, Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody, and Olivia Morris feature in the film. Alluri Sitarama Raju (Charan) and Komaram Bheem (Rama Rao) are mythical Indian revolutionaries who oppose the British Raj.

Director S.S. Rajamouli stumbled across stories of Rama Raju and Bheem's life and connected the dots, picturing what would have happened if they had met. Principal photography for the film began in November 2018 in Hyderabad and lasted until August 2021. The movie was shot mostly in India, with a few scenes in Ukraine and Bulgaria. The film was shot by K. K. Senthil Kumar and edited by A. Sreekar Prasad. M. M Keeravani composed the music and background score for the film, while V. Srinivas Mohan handled the visual effects.

The film, RRR, was made on a budget of 550 crores (US$72 million). The film premiered in theaters on March 25, 2022, to generally excellent reviews, including acclaim for the acting and writing. It was set to hit theaters on July 30, 2020, but was repeatedly postponed due to production problems. RRR smashed the record for the largest opening-day collection by an Indian film, earning 240 crores (US$31 million) worldwide on its first day. The film is the second highest-grossing picture in India and the third highest-earning Indian film during its theatrical run.

Movie Info - 

               In 1920, British Governor Scott and his wife Catherine forcibly removed Malli, a young girl with a talent for singing, from the Gond tribe. Komaram Bheem, the tribe's defender, follows her down to Delhi in the guise of Akhtar, a Muslim.

Scott's office is warned of Bheem's mission by the Nizamate of Hyderabad. A. Rama Raju, a police officer, offers to catch him in exchange for a promotion. They meet by chance while attempting to assist a youngster trapped in a train wreck. Ram and Lachhu are sent on a quest to learn more about Bheem, the king of the London people. They form bonds with one another while concealing their true identities. Ram kidnaps Lachu and tortures him in an attempt to find out more about his master. Bheem and his warriors break into the palace of Ram, who tries to save Malli. Ram enters dressed as a cop and confronts Bheem, who beats him off. Scott takes Malli captive at point-blank range after Ram stops him from surrendering.

In the film, Ram apprehends Bheem, who has been sentenced to death by public execution for his part in a rebellion against the British. Ram's father Venkata Ramaraju is depicted as a rebel who gave his life battling the British and then entered the colonial police. Ram learns that he will be in command of a huge arms shipment, which will allow him to steal a large number of British weaponry. Ram feels bad and decides to save Bheem and Malli instead. Scott detects the ruse and injures Ram, who flees with Malli.

Bheem and his soldiers are hiding in Hathras a few months later. Ram's fiancée, Sita, scares the British away by informing them that the building houses smallpox victims. Bheem apologizes for his crimes and assures Sita that he will save Ram. Ram and Bheem are captured by police and special forces. They team up to fight their way to the palace of Ram's father, Lord Rama. They destroy the palace by crashing a motorcycle into a room filled with TNT. Catherine is slain in the mayhem, while Ram and bheem kill Scott.

Sita, Jenny, and their allies reconnect with them. Bheem will be educated, Ram promises. Bheem returns to his hamlet and reunites Malli with her mother, while Ram returns to his village and delivers the weapons, fulfilling his pledge.
