Pathaan

Pathaan is a 2023 Hindi-language action thriller film that was produced by Aditya Chopra of Yash Raj Films and directed by Siddharth Anand. Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham are among the cast members. It was written by Shridhar Raghavan and Abbas Tyrewala from a story by Anand. Pathaan's main photography commenced in Mumbai in November 2020 and was filmed in a number of locations throughout India, Afghanistan, Spain, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Russia, Italy, and France. Right-wing Hindutva groups protested because Padukone appeared in the music video for the song "Besharam Rang" wearing a saffron bikini, but the Central Board of Film Certification approved the movie for release after some edits were made to the song sequence.

On January 25, 2023, Pathaan was released in IMAX, 4DX, and standard formats as well as dubs in Tamil and Telugu. It broke several Indian box office records, including the biggest opening day and opening weekend for a Hindi film, and received favorable reviews from critics. It is the highest-grossing Hindi film of 2023 and the fifth-highest Indian film of all time.

Movie-

               The Indian government revokes Article 370, which accords Jammu and Kashmir special status, in 2019, and a cancer-stricken Pakistani army general named Qadir decides to exact revenge on India. A unit called "Joint Operation and Covert Research" (JOCR) is established by Pathaan, a former RAW agent, and Nandini, his senior officer, to enlist former RAW agents to thwart Outfit X's plans to assassinate the President of India at a scientific conference. Pathaan discovers the "Raktbeej" codeword in the meantime, as well as the fact that the dead people in Dubai were ex-agents and their money was transferred from the account of a Pakistani doctor in Spain named Rubina Mohsin. Pathaan and his team travel to Moscow to steal it before Jim does, but Rubina betrays Pathaan and arranges for his arrest. It is revealed that Jim forced Pathaan to steal the Raktbeej so he could keep it for himself.

Pathaan meets Rubina, who explains that the Raktbeej virus was forcedly created by a captive Dr. Sahani on Jim's orders. Luthra and Nandini travel to Jim's lab to recover an orb containing the virus, and Rubina is detained by Luthra due to her ambiguous allegiances. Nandini watches Dr. Farooqi demonstrate the orb at the research facility in India, where it has already spread the virus. To stop the virus from spreading, Nandini and the infected scientists commit suicide, and Jim issues a 24-hour deadline for the removal of Indian soldiers from Kashmir. Pathaan, Rubina, and Jim set up a trap for Jim's friends and then attack his base.

Pathaan and Jim fight violently inside the cabin, and Pathaan deactivates Raktbeej and throws him outside. Jim is stripped of his Vir Puraskar and falls to his death. Pathaan is promoted to lead JOCR and reinstated into RAW, while Nandini receives a posthumous award for her bravery. Tiger and Pathaan debate retiring and suggesting young agents, but ultimately decide to keep battling the threats themselves.
