FREDDY

Shashanka Ghosh is the director of the 2022 psychological thriller film Freddy, which is made in Hindi. Alaya F. and Kartik Aaryan are the movie's stars. [1] Production began in August 2021 and was finished in September 2021. [2] The movie debuted on Disney + Hot star on December 2, 2022. [3] Both audiences and critics gave it favorable reviews, praising the screenplay and the cast's performances.

              Mumbai-based dentist Dr. Freddy Ginwala is a reclusive and awkward social person. He asks women out on dates repeatedly but always gets turned down. Hardy, his pet turtle, is his only companion; he also spends his free time building model airplanes. His father murdered his mother when he was a young boy before killing himself. Since that time, his aunt Persis has served as his guardian.

Freddy and Kainaaz meet at a relative's wedding. Kainaaz visits Freddy at his office and informs him that she needs her wisdom tooth removed. Freddy quickly develops a crush on her and witnesses Rustom beating her. He calls her and begs her to come to see him, but she reveals that Rustom is abusive and would kill her if she left him. They begin dating covertly and plan to wed and then murder Rustom to get rid of him. Freddy returns to his farmhouse in Karjat after killing Rustom and is shocked to find Kainaaz there with Raymond. Kainaaz admits to Freddy that she only used him to have her husband killed so that she and Raymond could get married and take over the restaurant that her husband had previously owned. Devastated, Freddy decides to exact revenge by replacing her facewash with liquid dishwasher detergent and draining Raymond's brake fluid. When Kainaaz wakes up, she discovers that she has an allergy and Raymond drives her to the hospital, but they are injured in an accident due to the brakes' malfunction.

Kainaaz and Freddy discover that someone has tarnished their restaurant's reputation by posting an online review and posting a pornographic image of them. They go to Freddy's home and beat him, but the police arrive before they can produce any evidence. Freddy then breaks into Kainaaz's house and secretly deletes all of Rustom's photos and messages from their phones. Later, while Freddy is away, they break into his house and kill Hardy, leaving Freddy heartbroken. Despite not having seen the driver's face, an eyewitness to Rustom's murder gives the police the license plate number of Freddy's car. When the police arrive to question Freddy, he makes up the story that Raymond had stolen his car to kill Rustom in an effort to frame him. Freddy threatens to arrest Kainaaz and Raymond but offers to spare their lives if they come to his farm and bring a suitcase. The police believe they have fled, but Freddy defeats them and captures them. He then violently extracts both of their teeth, killing them in the process. He admits that he still loves Kainaaz, and as the screen goes black, he crouches down between the two buried bodies and smiles ominously at the spectators.
